Interiors: In the Details
The carvers employed at Rundlet-May House were employing a new tradition of style borrowed from the English and even French Rococo as they embellished every corner of the house with ornamentation often symmetrical and geometric in nature. From a fireplace with a carved bountiful basket, to curvate niches recalling Roman architecture, the interior details made the house a home.
