Rundlet-May House
Second Floor: Bed Chamber of Gladys May Intro
Although her bedroom is filled with furniture originally purchased by James and Jane Rundlet, Gladys May was living in the house well into the twentieth century, so the room had to be outfitted with modern conveniences. Langley Boardman’s serpentine chest with side handles that was listed on an invoice, as well as the original bedstead with painted tester to complement the window pelmets that crown the windows, are now met with an adjoining bath.
