Garden Staircase

Eighteenth century inspired ha-ha walls, agricultural walls for keeping livestock in one area and often found in large English country estates and used at Mount Vernon, are re-interpreted in the view from the peony garden; a short set of steps connects the terraces, making the room-like settings of the Rundlet-May garden feel even more like a private oasis.
