War of 1812 engravings

This set of three framed engravings depict the maritime Battle of Lake Erie that took place during the War of 1812. James Rundlet’s woolen mills ensured that the family would remain not only stable, but affluent during the Jefferson embargo period and during the War of 1812 when he was contracted to provide uniforms to soldiers.
